With their focus on life and the world around us, Montreal Nature Museums (the Biodôme, the Insectarium, the Botanical Garden and the Planetarium) offer an enriching perspective on natural science.
Together, Montreal Nature Museums comprise the largest natural science museum in Canada and were recognized as such in February 2001 by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. Each year, they receive nearly two million visitors, including 600,000 youth, who are drawn by their captivating collections and activities for every season. Their popularity extends outside Québec, as 45 per cent of visitors are from outside the province.
