Coolest upcoming events in Montreal

Montreal is truly the most vibrant city of Canada. Because no matter when you come, there’s always something fun to do: nice gigs to see in one of the antique rooms we are so proud of (Olympia, Rialto, Théâtre Corona,...), game night at Bell Centre (now that hockey is back on track!), Art Galleries in Old Montreal or Mile-End, Museum Exhibitions...last but not least we have the festivals!!! Millions of people (yes, millions!) converge each summer to attend Jazzfest, Just for laughs or Francofolies. We all want summer back for this particular reason!

Winter is far from being over BUT here are the 2 coolest festivals (literally) you don’t want to miss this season:

 

• Igloofest: Thousands of electronic music fans dancing under the stars in the Old Port of Montreal, ice-and-steel decor, striking architectural staging, eclectic and international artists...welcome to Igloofest! Starting soon, the celebrations take place on 4 weekends (January & February) Do not miss it if you like electro! More info on http://www.igloofest.ca  

 

• Montreal en lumières: this one is one of the largest winter festivals in the world, with over 900 000 people attending! The Program combines amazing happenings, performing arts, gastronomy, free outdoor family activities, and a full night of exquisitely original discoveries! Access to the main site is free.
